Templewood Horse Riding Centre

Day School Information

Horses  •  Ponies  •  Fresh Air  •  New Friends  •  Fun

At Templewood we believe there is no better way to spend time than pampering ponies and enjoying equine adventures.  Templewood Horse Riding Centre offers full day holiday courses for children of school age.  These courses are the perfect opportunity for young horse enthusiasts to build their confidence and skills whilst meeting new friends in a supportive and educational environment.

The centre has been operating fifty years owned and managed by the same family. Children from overseas and interstate as well as local pupils have been enjoying these wonderful courses and making lasting friendships in this wholesome and friendly environment.   Experienced and friendly staff are chosen to ensure your child is well catered for at all times.

The riding program consists of riding sessions.   Non-riding time is filled with various pony care topics – including general horse management eg grooming, saddling, leading, lunging, feeding and most important – horse and rider safety.  Our riding facilities include three outdoor arenas and an in-door school, all weather exercise track and under cover saddling areas.  Students are provided with their own lunch room and are supervised at all times.
